10 Email Marketing Tips
The proper administration of an email marketing campaign can be a simple task if we take into account certain patterns.
1. Make your list at every opportunity: Take advantage of every opportunity to get emails from people interested in your offers or news. If you have a local, includes a form to obtain customer data. If events or conferences allow exchanged cards. Not to mention if you have a website (who does not have one?) Can use the automatically generated code from our control panel to incorporate mails automatically.
2. Avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation: Do not use ALL CAPS in the mail or excessive signs of admiration. Apart from that I personally find it very despoilment, if you do could be classified by automatic spam filters.
3. I included a text version and HTML: Although most of the recipients can view HTML emails, but include a text-only version about 5% of your list can not read your postings.
4. Familiarity fosters openness: The “From” field is the name of your company or employee, and once you choose to complete, try to maintain. During the time where it receives the mails decides whether or not to open your mail, a critical factor is whether the “From” field will be familiar.
5. Add a note on your email: To improve the arrival of the mail, adds a note of your top or bottom of every newsletter that says something like “To ensure proper receipt of your emails, please add algo@tuempresa.com. ar to your address book.
6. Is consistent with the frequency of your postings: I chose a frequency of shipping, either weekly, every 2 weeks, 15 days, monthly or whatever, but also about being consistent. So your customers are used to getting your emails to anticipate.
7. The schedule is key to B2B communications: In most cases it is best to send B2B emails between Tuesday and Thursday at the start of the day around 9:30 a.m. and end around lunch 1:30 pm. It is always advisable to avoid sending mails after 4:00 pm or on weekends.
8. Hours for B2C communications: For non-mails to consumers and businesses, the ideal delivery time is between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays between or among the Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
9. Relevant content to the receiver: When providing a value (whether of content that the receiver is interested in receiving discounts or products related to what we previously bought), people hardly unsubscribe from the list.
10. Just send mail to anyone who requests it in advance: We will not tire of emphasizing that. Unsolicited email is spam, and no mention is punishable by law in many countries and that your account may be suspended if we find such postings, legitimacy and the image of your company may be damaged permanently so if you want to benefit in the medium long-term, forget about this type of shipment.
