5 Reasons Why People Fail in Their Online Business
Avoid these mistakes that do by internet entrepreneurs:
1) They know the kind of “market” that is designed your product. Some people join an affiliate program, put the website in 800 search engines and expect to feel results. Sites selling all sorts of products and services sold flowers, appliances, books, music, software, airline tickets, cell phones, etc.
What do all these products in common? When entering the Internet to sell, you must specify a type of market. No interest if you sell them to pet lovers or gardeners. You can NOT do both in one website. The people who visit your website, ready to buy this but only spend it when they see that site is focused on a single line of products or services. Do not turn your website into a “Flea Market”.
2) Their websites have little or no traffic. I do not understand as there are owners of websites who think that people will find your site without having taken any previous action. Tell me if the following scenario makes sense for you: someone opens a business that sells conventional picture frames. How many people think they can find the business if not made the slightest publicity? None or very little!
Without traffic, your business will die before you start because the traffic is like oxygen in our body. If nothing is done to attract visitors to a website, you will not have any sales.
I know several people who are receiving 5 or 6 visits per day on your website and do not understand the essence of advertising. Must consider “priority 1″ generating traffic to your website.
3) They treat your business as an online game. These people handle their business like a hobby: sometimes work, sometimes play and do nothing. If anything good happen on TV, then do their work. If a film is good to start, then leave their jobs. Is that you?
A simple way to realize that a person does not take their work seriously is to see what type of tools being used. These tools could be:
* Free Websites
* E-mail accounts free
* Email autoresponders
* It takes a week to answer your mail
* Do not put your phone number on your website
* Do not put the URL of your website on their business cards
There are reasons to spare for your business does not work
4) Your website is not designed to sell.
Why a website is:
* Educate
* Sell
In that order.
Some websites do not do any of those things. If your website is very poor in content, do not expect people to stay and explore your website. Always remember that people all the time looking for business solutions to their problems. They use search engines, directories and newsletters read to find websites that give answers and solutions to their problems.
If your website does not solve a problem, a specific problem, your website will do a lot of money on the Internet. Your personal information such as name, address, telephone, fax and e-mail should be visible to all
Moreover, your site must be easy to navigate, read and quick to load. Should not be too many graphics, banners and rich content.
And then, after visits to educate, you must do to address your letter and sell the product.
5) They sell products that can be purchased easily in any conventional trade.
The products are sold over the Internet are precisely those that are not found easily in local businesses. If what you sell on their website are products for pets, flowers, pens, etc, you will be more difficult to get sales because you are not solving the problem for anyone.
But despite that, if you sell one kind of flowers or a pet that is not in local shops, then you have a good chance.
The Internet is the best way to sell non-conventional. When you happen to sell a product online, ask yourself: is this product can be found easily in the outside world? If yes, consider another product to sell.
These are the 5 biggest problems that I notice are the cause of failure in business online.
But all can be solved! Now you should learn what, if you must do to gain and increase sales.
