10 Things Should Know to Start Business
The prestigious INC Magazine gives us a list of 10 things that everyone who wants to start in business must know if you want to succeed.
Obviously not knowing the whole list is synonymous with success but it will be a good start to start.
The next comment that list:
1. The person who wants to start in business need to know numbers and know how to read them. Ie should know some financial ratios and can read balance sheets or financial statements in general that the numbers are what allow us to assess how the business.
2. A sale is not a sale until you collect the money from the sale. It is often believed that selling to close the deal ends when the process is more important to collect the money and do it as quickly as possible so that it does not affect my cash flow.
3. When your short-term debts exceed your current assets, you are bankrupt. Many businesses fail for not knowing this and end the business ends asphyxiated despite perhaps the idea that business is successful and very good profitability. Simply mishandling a business can lead to failure for the best business idea.
4. Forget about shortcuts, a business is forever. Often one wants to make money overnight, one must be clear that the process is long and that he is forever and can not believe that desperate for results and take actions that harm the long term.
5. The cash or cash is very hard to get and very easy to look after it comes to spending.
6. In business you do not have friends just associates.
7. Do not look at the outcome of the final sale but in gross profits from all your business. Many times a cree is gained by selling the final margin of course but you get that margin is lost when you view the business holistically. You must therefore consider the gross profit of the business to see what my real operating margin. Sometimes paradoxical situations that are losing money by selling more expensive so I put it a sale.
8. Identify your competitors and treat with respect.
9. A company’s culture is extremely important to a long-term business. The leader must develop a culture of your business plan and defend it.
10. Your life person, your life is always more important than your business plan. Should never forget that in the end a business are not important but your personal life.
